Today I threw down with a bear. It damn near murdered me, but I came out alive. The 10 levels I spent grinding chickens to save up enough gold to buy a jutsu proved useful against the beast (even though 10 levels of cooked chickens isn't enough for a scroll). I killed him with my bare-hands... ( Haha get it?)
In all seriousness, the bear artwork looks great! The cooking system is neat (Can't cook my newly acquired bear meat though). You and your team are making good progress. I plan on checking in every once in awhile. Please let me know if you guys need anything from me, I'm more than happy to help.

As I was grinding my way to learn the jutsu of the fighting cock, I came across the instance where killing a chicken near a door caused me to be unable to pickup the raw chicken that was dropped. I don't know if this can be replicated, I'll try it out when my chakra comes back.
